PORTFOLIO 2026

Hi, I'm Lexie
A Little Bit About My Journey ...
Marketing and Design together taught me to ask one question:
How can we build products that works for its target audience?
Prior to Vanderbilt, I studied at Rhode Island School of Design with a foucs on illustration and story-telling. I worked at technology corporations, startups, and a student-led publication, where I built experience in visual design for marketing, user experience design for digital products and creative project coordination.
In school, the work was evaluated based on creativity and visual quality, while in a business setting, the work also had to deliver measurable results—whether people clicked, converted, or responded to the message. That experience trained me to think beyond aesthetics and concept. I began to think about how consumer behavior, market trends, and business goals come together to shape strategy. The target audience, what they care about, and why they respond to certain types of message rather than the others.
My goal as both a designer and a marketer is to combine empathy, storytelling, and strategic thinking to create communication that respects people, reflects their values, and builds meaningful connections.
